How It Works

A straightforward, service-assisted process. You send the solicitation. We do the extraction and analysis. A human reviews every output before it reaches you.

Four steps from solicitation receipt to delivered package.

This is not an automated black box. Every step involves human judgment. The tool handles the mechanical extraction work so the human reviewer can focus on accuracy and flags.

1

You send the solicitation

Send us the solicitation package — PDF, Word, or the SAM.gov link. We confirm scope and timeline within one business day. No lengthy onboarding.

2

We run the extraction pipeline

Our tool reads the full document and extracts every requirement — mandatory, conditional, and deliverable. Each requirement is linked back to its source section and line number.

3

Human review of every output

Before anything leaves our hands, a human reviews the extraction results, checks for missed requirements, corrects errors, and adds risk flag context. Nothing ships without this step.

4

You receive the package

We deliver the complete bid analysis package in 48 business hours after receipt of the complete package: requirement checklist, compliance matrix, bid/no-bid recommendation, and risk flags — ready for your proposal team.

Be clear about what the tool does and does not do.

We are careful about how we describe this because accuracy matters in federal contracting work.

Not autonomous proposal writing

CrestProof does not write your proposal for you. It does not submit anything on your behalf. Your proposal team makes all substantive decisions.

Not a guaranteed win outcome

Better-organized proposals are more competitive. But the tool improves your process — it does not guarantee a win. We do not make that claim.

Not raw AI output handed to you

Every deliverable is reviewed by a human before delivery. Outputs are marked clearly for your team's review. Nothing is presented as final without your review.

Not a fit for defense or classified work

Our focus is civilian federal IT and services. We do not support defense-primary solicitations, classified work, or ITAR-heavy engagements at this stage.

Every requirement traces back to the source document.

One of the most common errors in proposal work is a compliance matrix that cannot be tied back to the solicitation. CrestProof addresses this at extraction time.

Section reference

Every extracted requirement includes the section identifier from the solicitation — C.2, L.5, M.3, etc. — exactly as labeled in the document.

Source text

The extraction includes the source sentence or clause, not just a paraphrase. Your reviewers can verify against the original without hunting for the passage.

Requirement type label

Each requirement is labeled: MANDATORY, CONDITIONAL, or DELIVERABLE. This drives how it appears in the compliance matrix and bid/no-bid analysis.
